Where We Stayed: Margaritaville Resort Orlando
- Mike and I traveled to Florida in November to celebrate my best friend Bethany’s 40th birthday. Her gathering was in St. Augustine, but Mike and I took an extra day to go to the Magic Kingdom before the birthday festivities.
- We arrived on a Thursday and visited Disney Springs that evening. We spent the next day, Friday, at the Magic Kingdom. We were there mid-November, so all of the Christmas decor was up and the park was looking so precious.
- Of course, I wished we had more time and could have done more than one park, but the Magic Kingdom is forever my favorite, so that’s the one we chose.
The trip was off to a great start with Frasier on the plane!
Ahh, sunshine.
We love the Margaritaville Resort – clean, lovely, and only a 15 min drive to the parks.
We visited the Coca Cola store at Disney Springs as kind of a joke. But then discovered they have a roof top bar and I got this delightful cranberry Sprite drink – it was delicious!
A lightsaber Christmas tree!
Here we go!
Forgot to bring a hat, so oh darn, I had to buy one.
On the Tomorrowland Transit Authority
I love the attention to detail – of course the Tomorrowland holiday decorations are silver… fits with the theming of the land.
Hi, Dad
The Bibbity Bobbity Boutique is BACK. Love the Ariel hair.
Mike went to ride Seven Dwarves Mine Train and I watched the parade.
Obviously I loved the rainbow.
What in the ever living HELL are these dress colors on the Sleeping Beauty fairies?!
I’m not a huge parade fan, but this one was pretty cute.
The line for Haunted Mansion, in which Mike and I got into a friendly bicker over how we would haunt each other from the grave.
Sorry not sorry for ALL THE BALLOON PICTURES!
We stopped for dinner and dessert at the Contemporary.
These photos were taken a few days later at the Orlando airport — they have the cutest Disney murals!
My haul from this trip – so much red and green!
